DM NO. 036, S. 2021 | PERIOD OF BRIDGING LEARNING GAPS AND INTENSIFYING LEARNING GAINS

Relative to DepEd Order 012, s. 2021 re: Amendment to DepEd Order no. 030, s 2020, Memorandum OUCI-2020-307 dated October 30, 2020 which provides the suggested measures to foster academic ease during the Covid-19 pandemic, the field is hereby informed that based on the continuous monitoring by the Department of Education (DepEd) of the implementation of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP) and through the results of formative assessments, portfolio of learning outputs, and other activities given to learners, there has been identified need to address learning gaps in order to meet the required essential learning competencies. These learning gaps are attributed to reduced academic opportunities at home and substantial loss of live contact with teachers. Thus, period of bridging learning gaps and intensifying learning gains will start from March 1 to March 12, 2021.
