1. The field is hereby informed that Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) National Office has officially granted a Permit to Organize to the Local Government of the City of Dasmarinas, through this Office, which authorizes the organization and establishment of the Dasmarinas City Associate Council, ensuring compliance with BSP standards and policies issued in November 11, 2025, endorsed during the Regional Scouts Committee Meeting (RESCOM) held on December 2, 2025.
2. With the Permit to Organize and in pursuance of Regional Memorandum No. 35, s. 2023 titled “Reiteration in Revitalizing Boy Scouting in Schools”, the field is hereby further informed of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) – Dasmarinas Associate Council’s Local Calendar of Activities for January to December 2026. The enclosed calendar outlines the activities, level of execution, persons-in-charge, and brief descriptions for proper guidance and implementation.
3. This memorandum also reiterates the wearing of the official scouting uniform at least once a week by DepEd officials, personnel, and scouts across all governance levels in the division:
a. Monday – Flag Raising Ceremony or
b. Friday – Flag Hosting Ceremony
4. Schools shall ensure that all participating scouts in outdoor activities shall secure duly signed parent/guardian consent forms accompanied by authorized Adult Scout Leaders. Schools are also expected to designate troop marshals to maintain discipline, prepare basic first aid kits, and supervise full cooperation with security personnel, and marshals to ensure orderly proceedings and safety at all times.
5. Participation in scouts activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005, Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, as well as strict compliance with other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
6. Furthermore, the schools shall fully understand and comply with Division Order No. 1, s. 2019, titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas, and Division Memorandum No. 45, s. 2021, titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities.
