1. It is provided under DepEd Order No. 009 s. 2021 that all governance levels of the Department shall adhere to the applicable information, requirements and procedures in the institutionalization of DepEd QMS. This is line with the Executive Order (EO) No.605, s.2007 that directs all departments and agencies in the Executive branch to adopt ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
2. Further, this Order provides for the recitation of DepEd Quality Policy Statement (QPS) during the conduct of Flag ceremony and posting of the same through bulletin board and /or at least (3) conspicuous places and shall be uploaded on the official website of the office or school.
3. This Office informs the field of its new QMS structure pursuant to the National Quality Management System (NQMS) as stated in the enclosure herein. The effectivity of the new composition shall be on April 5, 2021.
