1. In consonance with DepEd Order No. 1, s. 2022 titled: “Revised Policy Guidelines on Homeschooling Program,” this Office through the Private Schools Unit will conduct an orientation activity with selected private schools on February 13, 2023 at the NCST-Dasmarinas Event Center, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
2. DepEd would like to reiterate its relevance as one among the Alternative Delivery Modes (ADMs) which may be offered by any public or private schools as a response to the need of the learners who cannot regularly report to schools due to medical conditions, family situations, and difficult circumstances that require more regular parental support and supervision and for learners whose parents opt them to be educated at home themselves.
3. Concerned private schools shall send official representatives preferably School Heads or their Homeschooling Program Coordinator in preparation for such application in the SY 2024-2025. Kindly register through bit.ly/DasmaADM on or before February 9, 2023.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is earnestly desired.
