1. Relative to DepEd Memorandum OUOPS No. 01-2024 from Dr. Francis Cesar B. Bringas, Assistant Secretary for Operations, in view of the preparation for the 2024 Palarong Pambansa and in ensuring the members of the Palarong Pambansa Screening and Accreditation Committee- from the division up to the national level be well informed and capacitated on the rules and guidelines relative to screening and accreditation, a Conference of National, Regional, And Division Accreditation And Screening Committee Members shall be conducted from February 05 to 09, 2024 at Cebu Business Hotel, Cebu City.
2. The conference aims to:
a. Discuss areas for the improvement and challenges confronted during conduct of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa
b. Orient and update the members of the Regional and Division Screening and Accreditation Committee on the revised rules on screening and accreditation of learner-athletes, coaches, assistant coaches and chaperones.
c. Develop a system for the digitization of documents, preparation of Passport for athletes/coaches/assistant coaches and finalization of the master list.
d. Concur with the timelines and expectations of the screening and accreditation process.
3. Target participants to the conference are the chairpersons of the RSAC and DSAC, the members of the NSAC, regional sports officers and members of the Palarong Pambansa Secretariat and personnel.
