1. MATATAG: Bansang Makabata, Batang Makabansa was introduced by Vice President and Secretary of Education Sara Z. Duterte on the last day of January 2023 to establish the new course of direction for the Department of Education and stakeholders in addressing issues with basic education. This is supported by the Republic Act 9155 which is the Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001, which states “The State shall encourage local
initiatives for improving the quality of basic education.” Thus, Cluster 5 initiates this District Mantra, “DasMATATAG na Cluster 5: Bouncing Back
Better, Braver, and Bolder which will be launched on March 8, 2023 (Wednesday), 8:00 am at the School Library of Dasmarinas Integrated High
School (DIHS).
2. Participants in this launching are the Cluster 5 Public Schools District Supervisor, Parent Supervisor, School Heads, and OIC-Asst. Principals, 2
Learning Leaders, DRRM Focal, M&E, SLRCP, LnD, and School QMR.
3. Enclosed to this Memorandum are the rationale, program activity and technical working group.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
