1. For the information and guidance of all concerned, attached herewith is a copy of the National Privacy Commission’s (NPC) Circular No. 2020-03 titled, “Data Sharing Agreements” (DSA) and the suggested DSA template.
2. DepEd offices/units may use as reference the Circular and the DSA Template when entering into data sharing agreements with other institutions that are considered as Personal Information Controllers in compliance with the requirements of Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and other NPC issuances.
3. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
