1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 12080 or the Basic Education Mental Health and Well-Being Promotion Act and relative to Regional Memorandum No. 574, s. 2024 or Regional Training of Psychological First Aid Responders, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division through the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, will conduct the division training of trainers on Psychological First Aid (PFA) responders on February 5-7, 2025 at the View Park Hotel, Tagaytay-Calamba Road, Sungay East, Tagaytay City.
2. This activity aims to capacitate the participants with the principles of Psychological First Aid (PFA) as a disaster response mechanism in times of emergencies to help our learners manage their mental well-being.
3. The participants to this activity are the school guidance counselors/ designates.
4. Attached to this Memorandum are the list of participants and training matrix.
5. Furthermore, in compliance with Division Order No. 1, 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas and Division Memorandum No. 45, 2. 2021 titled Banning of Single-Use Plastic Products in All Division and School Training and Activities, participants are advised to avoid single use plastics and bring their own water tumblers.
