1. The Department of Health in Coordination with the Department of Education intensifies the Mosquito Control for prevention of Dengue, Chikungunya and Zika Virus.
2. In this regard the field are hereby requested to implement the following:
2.1 DESTRUCTION AND ELIMINATION of mosquito breeding sites
2.2 Use of approved MOSQUITO REPELLANTS
2.3 WEARING OF CLOTHING that prevents skin exposure to mosquito bites
2.4 KEEPING THE SURROUNDING CLEAN
3. Likewise, kindly check the DepEd Memorandum No. 165, s. 2016 for the Health Advisory of the Department of Health.
4. The City Schools Division, Health and Nutrition Unit, would like to request the School Heads to monitor the school premises in the implementation of the mosquito control.
5. To sustain the implementation, the Health and Nutrition Unit will include the activity in the Monitoring of Canteen and Clinic.
