- Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 008, s. 2020 titled Guidelines on Enrollment for SY 2020- 2021 in the Context of COVID-19, this Office hereby informs the field of the modified enrollment guideline that adheres to the procedures set by the Inter-Agency Task Force Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-E1D), the Office of the President, and the Department of HeaIth(DOH).
- These procedures shall guide parents, legal guardians, and teachers in the registration learners in the public elementary and secondary schools and Alternative Learning System program in the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas on June 1 -30, 2020.
- In view of the foregoing, attention is hereby invited in the following paragraphs provided under the above captioned issuance to wit: i. In keeping with strict physical distancing measures, enrollment procedure for 2020 2021, shall primarily be administered remotely. Physical enrollment schools or other similar activity shall be highly discouraged, even in low risk areas. The first two weeks shall completely be remote enrollment where there will be absolutely face-to-face. Unless otherwise necessary, any form of physical submission of enrollment data shall only be done on the f d week of the enrollment period, which shall be done in coordination with local government units. (LGUs). Implementing remote enrollment shall take into consideration the resource inequalities and differing circumstances that exist among learners and teachers; ii. The implementation of a modified enrollment procedure this school year shall primarily be facilitated by previous advisers, who will collect and enter the enrollment and survey data into the End-of-School-Year Learner Information System (EOSY-LIS), except for Kindergarten, transferees and Batik-Aral enrollees; and
