1. Cognizant of the importance of preparing the qualifiers to the 2015 Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC), the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will conduct a Five-day Live —in Training for Campus Journalists and trainers on November 28-30 up to December 1-2 at Sta. Cruz School. Final briefing of School Paper Advisers and coaches will be on December 2, 9AM.
2. This training aims to enhance the journalistic competence of the RSPC qualifiers and increase their level of competitiveness.
3. Participants to this training are the top 5 in each category in the Division Schools Press Conference and the Division Trainers and facilitators for each category. They are advised to bring their own bedding and personal paraphernalia.
4. Photojournalism participants are advised to bring digital camera (point and shoot only) with a maximum of 20 megapixels. Any DSLR and other high end camera are not allowed. Collaborative/ Desktop publishing participants are also advised to bring their own laptop and printer. Likewise all Radio broadcasting and script writing participants are also advised to bring their own equipment.
5. There will be NO REGISTRATION FEE to be collected. Food of the participants will be charged from SEF under Training and Development. However, school shall take charge of the transportation of the participants.
6. Attached are the lists of trainers, facilitators, executive committee, opening and closing program.
7. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
