1. In reference to Regional Memorandum No. 86 s. 2024 re: Intensifying Guidance and Counseling Program in Schools, and pursuant to Republic Act No 11036, s. 2018 “Mental Health Act of 2018, as well as DM-OUCI-2021 “Guidance and Counseling and Referral System for SY 2021-2022,” this Office reiterates the intensification of guidance and counseling in all schools.
2. As stipulated in DM-OUCI-2021 the School Head shall:
- Designate a guidance advocate in the absence of a Registered Guidance Counselor
3. In view thereof, all School Heads must designate a Registered Guidance Counselor/Guidance Advocate to fulfill the responsibilities as stipulated in RA 11036 and DM-OUC1-2021-055.
