1. Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 106, s.2019 entitled, “Conduct of S.Y. 2018-2019 School-Based Management (SBM) Self-Assessment”, this Office announces the conduct of the Division SBM Validation Visit on June 25-27 and July 2-4 2019.
2. This activity aims to:
a. Determine the SBM profile of the schools alongside the principles of A Child- and Community centered Education System (ACCESS);
b. Identify the technical assistance (TA) needs of schools in terms of SBM practice; and
c. Recognize good SBM practices for benchmarking by other schools.
3. To expedite the validation process, schools are advised to prepare the needed artifacts and documents per SBM Principle and to assign a counterpart School Assessment Team. However, schools should adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled “Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith”, and make sure that there will be no disruption of classes during the visit.
