1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum dated August 6, 2018 re: Conduct of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Camp, the field is hereby informed of the conduct of the Greenaissance Summit on July 26, 2019, Friday, at Bulwagang SiGaSig, City Schools Division of Dasmariñas.
2. The activity aims to:
a. provide YES-O Teacher-Advisers and Presidents with opportunities to acquire knowledge, values, attitudes, commitment, and skills needed to protect and improve the environment;
b. create new patterns of behavior of students, teachers, other school personnel, student organization and clubs, and community as a whole towards the environment;
c. conduct MOU signing with Greenpeace Philippines; and
d. elect new Division-Federated Officers and Advisers.
3. Participants are all Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) Teacher-Advisers and Presidents.
4. All participants shall strictly observe the following:
a. bring a tumbler/a mug;
b. wear YES-0 Shirt or any official school polo shirt, jeans, and rubber shoes; and
c. avoid using paper cups, plastic bags, plastic utensils, disposable table napkins, and styro products.
5. Food, travel and other related expenses shall be charged against the YES-O funds/ school local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
6. Enclosed are the Lists of Participants, Facilitators, and TWG, and Programme for ready reference.
