1. Due to the drastic rise of confirmed COVID-19 cases since the implementation of General Community Quarantine (GCQ), this Office reiterates DepEd Order No. 14, s. 2020 re: Guidelines on the Required Health Standards in Basic Education Offices and Schools to ensure safety among all learners and personnel prior to the opening of S.Y. 2020-2021.
2. In the said order, travel advisories including testing and quarantine for personnel and learners are emphasized.
3. For the guidance of all, the following measures are to be strictly followed:
• All teaching and non-teaching personnel, and learners coming from provinces, cities and municipalities outside of Dasmariñas especially in areas with large number of cases like the National Capital Region (NCR), Cebu, Laguna, and Rizal should have a mandatory 14 days of quarantine at home.
• Should one become symptomatic, swab testing must be done in coordination with the City Health Office.
• Contact tracing of close contacts of confirmed COVID-19 cases are to be done in cooperation with local health units.
4. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum is desired.
