1. This Office informs the field that the National Virtual Orientation on the Use of the DepEd Sports Manual for Sports Managers and Officers will be rescheduled on September 28, 2021 (9:00 AM-11:00 AM) to be participated by all elementary and secondary school heads/principals and all school sports coordinators (for Cluster 2: Region IV-A, IV-B, and NCR). In addition, the orientation for all Regional and Division Sports Officers will be scheduled on October 01, 2021, (9:00 AM-11:00 AM).
2. The orientation aims to orient the sports managers and officers in the regions and schools divisions regarding the DepEd Sports Manual and to provide a better understanding on the sports club in general such as the framework, sports implementation, sports management, and others.
3. This has reference to the enclosed OUA Memorandum 00-0821-0036 dated August 5, 2021 entitled Amendment to OUA Memorandum 16-0721-0735 “National Virtual Orientation on the Use of the DepEd Sports Manual for Sports Managers and Officers” issued from the Office of the Undersecretary for Administration (OUA) through the Bureau of Learner Support Services – School Sports Division (BLSS-SSD) that encourages all Regional Sports Officers (RSOs), Division Sports Officers (DSOs), School Heads/Principals and school sports club coordinators involved in the management of sports clubs in their respective schools are enjoined to participate in the aforementioned activity.
