1. Relative to the BSP Council Memorandum Number 05 s. 2019 regarding the conduct of the
Councilwide Patrol Leaders Training Course and Crew Leaders Training Course for Potential Leaders, this office hereby informs the field that it will be conducted on August 16-18, 2019 at Imus Pilot Elementary School, lmus City, with the following important details:
2. The training course aims for the following objectives:
a. To enable the Patrol Leader (PL) and Crew Leader ( CL) identify his duties and responsibilities;
b. To be able to demonstrate skills necessary to fulfill his role as PL and CL; and
c. To gain a deeper understanding of Scouting Aim and methods and greater skills necessary in
the use of scouting techniques.
3. Qualifications for participation are as follows:
a. SCOUTS
• Must be duly registered as Boy! Senior
• Must be holding leadership position in a Troop/Outfit
• Must be physically fit for training
• Must not be under 10 or over 17 years of age
• Must secure Parent’s Permit
b. SCOUTERS
• Must be duly registered as Troop leader/Outfit Advisor
• Must have served as Unit Leader or Assistant Unit Leader
• Must have Scouting experience and sufficient camping knowledge
4. A Registration Fee of EIGHT HUNDRED PESOS (Php 800.00) per participating Scout and
Scouter will be collected to cover foods for three (3) days, cost of program materials, handouts,
Certificate of Participation and other administrative needs.
5. The participating SCOUTS and SCOUTERS must follow the 8:1 ratio of participation. For every
8 Scouts, they will have to be be accompanied by 1 BSP Teacher Unit leader. The reporting time
is at 1:00 PM of Day 1 (August 16).
