1. Pursuant to the Republic Act (RA) No. 7079, otherwise known as Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the 2019 live-out DIVISION SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (DSPC) for school paper advisers and student/pupil-writers/delegates in both private and public elementary schools will be held on September 3-6, 2019 and September 10-1 1,2019 (Collaborative Publishing) at Dasmariñas II Central School, City of Dasmariñas.
2. The Conference aims to:
a. promote understanding among campus journalists/participants on the importance of journalism by expressing it through different journalistic endeavors and approaches;
b. sustain advocacy on social consciousness;
c. provide a venue for an enriching learning experience for pupils and students interested in pursuing journalism as a career;
d. promote responsible journalism and fair and ethical use of social media; and
e. enhance journalistic competence through healthy and friendly competitions.
3. Complete set of participants per category is expected. Each school can send a maximum of three participants per category provided that the said participants will participate only in one category. All schools are required to participate in Radiobroadcasting and TV Broadcasting. …
