1. Pursuant to the Republic Act (RA) No. 7079, otherwise known as Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the 2023 live-out DIVISION SCHOOLS PRESS CONFERENCE (DSPC) with the theme, “From Campus Journalism to Real-World Journalism: Shaping Minds from Schools to Societies” for school paper advisers and student/pupil-writers/delegates in both private and public elementary and secondary schools will be held on May 11-12, 2023 at Sta. Cruz Elementary School (for individual categories, and Scriptwriting and Radio Broadcasting) and Dasmarinas Integrated HS Library (for Scriptwriting and TV Broadcasting).
2. The Conference aims to:
a. demonstrate understanding among campus journalists/participants on the importance of journalism by expressing it through different journalistic endeavors and approaches;
b. sustain advocacy on social consciousness;
c. provide a venue for an enriching learning experience for pupils and
students interested in pursuing journalism as a career;
d. promote responsible journalism and fair and ethical use of social media; and
e. enhance journalistic competence through healthy and friendly competitions.

3. A complete set of participants per category is requested. Each school can send three (3) participants per individual category provided that the said participants will participate only in one category.

4. A waiver or permit signed by the parents must be secured. All participants must observe social distancing and abide by the Division’s health protocols.

5. Training/Cliniquing of DSPC winners for individual categories and the members of composite selection or team for group categories shall be done in
