1. In preparation for the upcoming Regional Office’s Random Monitoring of Schools on Child Protection Committee (CPC) Functionality on March 13, 2024, this Division hereby informs the field of the conduct of Division-level CPC preparation assessment and provision of technical assistance whenever necessary on March 8, 2024 (Friday), 8 am onwards.
2. It is reiterated that all public and private schools are expected to be ready and available for monitoring if their school is selected. Therefore, by March 8, 2024, schools are expected to have prepared their documents or any means of verification according to the tool indicators and alignment with the CPCs in the following areas:
a. Organization and Coordination;
b. Policies and Guidelines;
c. Capacities and Resources;
d. Service Delivery; and
e. Accountability
3. Participation in this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance with other existing DepEd rules and guidelines. Thus, it is expected that School Heads should make the necessary adjustments in compliance thereof.
