1. In accordance with DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2024 on “Revised Guidelines on Class and Work Suspension in Schools During Disasters and Emergencies,” schools are expected to shift to online, modular, or blended distance learning, performance tasks, projects, or make-up classes during class suspensions due to extreme heat conditions or other emergencies and hazards.
2. In line with this, the Curriculum Implementation Division, shall conduct the Division Monitoring of the Implementation of Distance Learning During Disasters and Extreme Heat Conditions starting March 11, 2025 (Tuesday) onward* to gather and validate data on the effectiveness of implemented distance learning mechanisms, monitor the availability of learning resources in schools, and ensure proper documentation of suspended class days such as mechanisms of shifting, teacher-student engagement, support mechanism, and to gather challenges and recommendations for proper implementation of distance learning.
