1. Pursuant to the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Department of Education (DepEd), through its External Partnerships Service (EPS), and with Nestle Philippines Inc. (NPI)-Bear Brand Fortified Powdered Filled Milk Drink in October 2017, Ang Batang Matibay 2022 Awards aims to honor grade school learners who have demonstrated resilience amidst adversities in life. This is in line with Laid sa Tibay 2.0 Program that promotes school nutrition education for parents, teachers, and learners.
2. Elementary schools are highly encouraged to send in nomination of their qualified pupil who have demonstrated resilience amidst adversities in life on or before June 30, 2023.
3. Attached to this Memorandum are the Memoranda anent the said call for nomination and the nomination forms required thereof. The Social Mobilization and Networking Section shall provide needed technical assistance for each interested schools.
