1. The Department of Education provides an intervention which aims to help teachers, personnel and learners who have experienced distressful and/or traumatic events in the war-torn city or calamity-affected areas regain a sense of normalcy in their lives. Psychological First Aid (PFA) also provides the recipients an avenue where they can express their current state and post-traumatic stress symptoms. Ultimately, it aids recipients into developing more adaptive ways of coping with stressful events.
2. The City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will be conducting a Cavite Cluster Psychological First Aid Training of School and Division Personnel on September 30, October 1-2, 2019, at Aqua Mira Hotel and Resort. Naic, Cavite.
3. Participants to this activity are five (5) school DRRM coordinators, five (5) guidance counselors, two (2) Division Office nurses, one (1) PDO I youth formation, one (1) process observer and one (1) Project Development Officer (PDO) II, DRRM. Refer to Enclosure No. 1 for the list of attendees.
4. Expenses relative to this activity shall be charged against DRRMS National Fund SARO subject to the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
