1. In an effort to capacitate the performance of the ALS teachers and to raise the achievement level of the Alternative Learning System – Accreditation and Equivalency (ALS-A&E) Test, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas will conduct a Pedagogical Retooling in Mathematics, Languages and Science for ALS Teachers on October 9, 11 & 17, 2019 at ALS Conference Room, SPED and ALS Building Dasmarinas 2 Central School Compound, Brgy. Burol I, Dasmarinas City.
2. The objectives of the training are as follows:
a. Enhance content knowledge, pedagogical skills, and attitude of teachers.
b. Improve the ability to assess learner’s various literacy skills; and
c. Sustain commitment in mentoring sharing of teaching practices and experiences through a cost-effective and sustainable professional development system to improve instructional and learning outcomes.
3. Participants to this activity are 13 Mobile Teachers; 7 School ALS Coordinators; 5 LSB Teachers; 27 Instructional Managers of the Service Providers, and 6 Technical Working Group.
4. Enclosed herewith are copies of the matrix, list of participants, committees and program for the activity.
5. No registration fee shall be collected for the conduct of this activity.
