1. Following the conduct of the Division Monitoring of Special Curricular Programs for Science on January 29-31, 2025, as stipulated in Division Memorandum 965, s. 2024, significant inputs have been gathered regarding the schools’ performance and their adherence to DepEd Order 55, s. 2010 and DepEd Order 57, s. 2011, established guidelines and standards. The monitoring systematically assessed the implementation and effectiveness of the Special Science Elementary School and Science, Technology, and Engineering Programs in the following key areas:
a. Admission Process
b. Class Management
c. Curriculum and Instruction
d. Human Resources
e. Physical Resources

2. In light of the findings, a Division Handbook Development Team is hereby created, composed of SSES and STE Coordinators, to oversee the development of a Division-Initiated Harmonized Handbook for SSES and STE Programs. This handbook will serve as a comprehensive guide for the proper implementation and sustainability of these special curricular programs within the division.

3. In line with this, there will be a virtual meeting of SSES and STE School Coordinators with the Chair and Co-chair of the development team on March 20, 2025 at 2:00 pm via virtual link at https://tinyurl.com/SSESandSTEMeeting. The official list of designated team members and attendees for the meeting is attached in the enclosure.

4. Participation in this engagement shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.

5. Widest dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
