Attached is the DepEd Memorandum No. 3 s. 2017 “Dissemination of Civil Service Commission Memorandum Circular No. 6, s. 2106” dated January 6, 2017 which states Awareness Campaign in Support of ASEAN Community 2015 and the Philippines’ Chairmanship of ASEAN 2017.
In regards to this, the field is hereby directed to participate in the conduct of national awareness campaign on ASEAN in the first flag ceremony of the month of year 2017, including the following programs and activities:
• Display of ASEAN Community banners.
• Inclusion of the singing of the ASEAN anthem which can be secured from the ASEAN website (www.asean.org).
• Sharing of information on ASEAN (e.g. updates on ASEAN-related activities, trivia, informative videos, etc.)
• Government officials and employees are encouraged to wear ASEAN-inspired attire.
A narrative report must be submitted to Administrative Office every first Friday of the month.
