1. Relative to Regional Memorandum No. 19-76 entitled Strengthening the Implementation of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-0) in Schools, all Public Elementary and Secondary Schools in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas are enjoined to ensure the implementation of the Programs, Projects and Activities (PPAs) of the YES-O.
2. Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Organization is a school-based co-curricular organization which serves as a significant venue for students’ actions and movements toward safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment for future generations. It is the only recognized co-curricular environmental organization which consolidates all other school environmental and/or ecology clubs or organizations.
3. School Principals/Heads and Teachers are encouraged to support the YES-0 PPAs by ensuring that Mandated PPM (refer to DepEd Order No. 93, s. 2011 entitled Mandated Programs, Projects and Activities, Various Forms, and Targets Pertinent to the Youth for Environment in Schools (YES) Programs) and additional PPM (refer to Enclosure No. 1) are duly implemented, monitored and evaluated in their respective schools.
4. The elected YES-0 Adviser, through the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Government (SSG), shall monitor and evaluate all YES-0 activities in the school and in the community (refer to DepEd Order No. 47, s. 2014 entitled Constitution and By-Laws of the Supreme Pupil Government (SPG) and Supreme Student Government (SSG) in Elementary and Secondary Schools) with the guidance of the School Head/ Principal.
5. The Division Youth Formation Coordinator on Student Leadership Development Program shall coordinate and monitor the conduct of activities of the YES-0 in schools.
