1. In relation to the approved NDRRMC Memorandum No. 006, s. 2023 titled, “Resumption of Face-to face Conduct of Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill”, offices across all levels in the Department and Schools are enjoined to participate in the 2023 Second Quarter Nationwide
Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) on June 8, 2023, at 9:00 AM.
2. All DepEd personnel and learners are enjoined to practice the whole earthquake protocol subject to strict implementation of minimum health protocols
3. In order to further raise awareness regarding the earthquake drill, SDRRM Coordinators are encouraged to:
a. intensify the Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) campaign by displaying information on earthquake preparedness measures focusing on children, women, youth students, and senior citizens through online forums such as media platforms and video conferences; and
b. accomplish and discuss results of Family Earthquake Preparedness Form as mandated in DO No. 27, s 2015.

5. All School DRRM coordinator shall accomplish the monitoring template (Annex A) and photo documentation (Annex B).
