1. In line with the goals of Department of Education (DepEd) to provide the proper school environment that is most conducive to effective teaching and learning, this Office through the Education Facilities Unit of the School Governance and Operations Division, shall conduct a capacitation on school physical facilities management and school building projects implementation on June 29-30, 2023, through a hybrid modality. The first day shall be held via ZOOM Cloud Meeting which can be accessed thru the link below. The second day shall be held at the Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias, Cavite.

2. This activity aims to:
a. guide the participants towards an efficient and effective management of educational facilities; and
b. equip the participants with knowledge on construction management to ensure better facilitation of school building projects.
3. Participants in this activity are the Public Elementary and Secondary School Heads and their respective School Physical Facilities Coordinators.
4. Transportation cost of the participants may be charged against school local fund subject to availability and to the usual accounting and auditing procedures.
5. All school heads are further instructed to implement necessary arrangement to
ensure that no classes/school operations shall be hampered by their participation in consideration of DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time – On – Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
