1. Pursuant to DepEd Order 78, s.2010 titled as “Guidelines on The Implementation of the DepED Computerization Program (DCP)”, it is crucial for school personnel to understand program objectives, build capacity in utilizing technological resources effectively, ensure compliance with guidelines, promote collaboration among participants, and empower the schools towards integrating in education. By providing clarity on program goals, enhancing digital literacy, ensuring adherence to standards, fostering collaboration, and engaging communities, the workshop facilitates the successful implementation of the DCP, ultimately contributing to the enhancement of educational quality and equity in the digital age. The orientation-workshop will take place on March 25-26, 2024, 8 Am to 5pm at Bayleaf Hotel, Gen. Trias City.
2. The orientation-workshop aims to:
a. provide clarity to school ICT Coordinator regarding the objectives and guidelines specified in DepEd Order 78, s.2010, pertaining to the DepEd Computerization Program (DCP);
b. equip school ICT Coordinator with the requisite skills for proficiently managing and overseeing the inventory and property associated with the DCP, ensuring optimal utilization and accountability;
c. discuss the Korean e-Learning Improvement Cooperation (KLIC) Program and its school Roll-out;
d. facilitate the formulation of comprehensive action plans at the school level for the maintenance and implementation of the DCP, while supporting division-level monitoring and validation efforts to ensure adherence to standards and promote effective integration of in education.
3. The participants in this orientation-workshop are all the JHS & SHS School ICT Coordinators and select Division Office Personnel (see Enclosure No. 1)
