1. Relative to the conducted Regional Seminar on One-Time Cleansing of Property, Plant and equipment (PPE) Account Balances of Government Agencies and in consonance with COA Circular No. 2020-006 dated January 31, 2020, Guidelines and Procedures in the Conduct of Physical Count of Property. Plant and Equipment (PPE), Recognition of PPE of Items found at Station and Disposition for Non-existing/ Missing PPE Items for the One-Time Cleansing of PPE Account Balances of Government Agencies, this division will conduct a Roll-out on One-Time Cleansing of PPE Account Balances of Government Agencies and Increase in Capitalization Threshold from P15,000.00 to P50,000.00 with Disposal on March 27-28, 2025 at Bulwagang Sigasig, SDO Compound, Brgy. Burol I, Dasmaririas City, Cavite from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
2. This activity aims to:
a. Understand the Rationale for Cleansing PPE Account Balances;
b. Comprehend the Increase in Capitalization Threshold; and
c. Understand the Disposal Process for PPE.
3. Participants in this activity are the forty-five (45) School Property Custodians from Public Elementary and Secondary School.
4. Participation to this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
5. Travel costs that will be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
