1. The Division has been steadfast in ensuring that all offices/units are informed by data-driven studies in delivering access to quality education and effective governance. Due to rising challenges in education before, during, and after the pandemic, there is an increasing need for evidence-based decision-making in curriculum, instruction, governance, and operations to support and continue quality and accessible education for all amid the changing times. Hence, this capacity building is conducted to optimize the division resources in crafting research that will contribute to the formulation and implementation of empirical policies and programs.
2. As such, the School Governance and Operations Division- Research Unit shall conduct a Capacity Building on Conducting Research for Policy
Recommendation in Education: Issues, Challenges, and Possible Future Directions on September 22-23, 2022, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM at the Banyuhay ng Kakayahan of Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School. This training aims to capacitate CSDO personnel on the fundamentals of research particularly in creating impactful research to inform and implement evidence-based policies.
3. Participation of unit heads, Education Program Supervisors, and Public Schools District Supervisors is expected. Participants must pre-register at
