1. Relevant to the previously released Memorandum dated February 25, 2026 and in accordance with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) Memorandum Circular No. 2026-02 pertaining to the above-mentioned subject, this Office hereby informs the field of its implementation.

2 . This year marks the fourth installment of the recurring multi-year campaign banner, WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society, which emphasizes that achieving gender parity is a shared responsibility and a collective investment in an equitable future. The observance is grounded in several legal mandates including Proclamation No. 227, s . 1988, which designates March as Women’s Role in History Month and Republic Act . No. 6949 declaring March 8 of every year as National Women’s Day.

3. Attention is hereby invited to paragraph 3 for the specific details of the activities. All offices, public and private schools are encouraged to participate in the month-long celebration.

4. Enclosed is the Issuance for full reference.

5. All expenses related to the conduct of these activities may be charged against the respective offices and schools’ Gender and Development (GAD) Budget subject to the usual accounting and auditing regulations.
