1. With reference to DO 13, s. 2018 re: Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct
of Remedial and Advancement Classes During Summer for the K to 12 Basic
Education Program and Republic Act No. 10533 otherwise known as the Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013, the City Schools Division of Dasmarinas announces the conduct of remedial, enrichment, and advancement classes for SY 2022-2023 for private elementary and secondary schools. This is to ensure the delivery and attainment of quality basic education.
2. This Office is accepting letter of request to offer summer classes. The conduct
of summer class is subject to the approval of the Schools Division Superintendent
(SDS) upon submission of complete documentary requirements. Further, initial
evaluation of documents shall be done by the CID Office and Private School
Coordinator before its submission to the SDS Office.
3. Schools that opt to offer summer class are likewise mandated to adhere with
the provisions of the following DepEd Orders and Memoranda:
a. DepEd Order No. 13, s.2018 titled “Implementing Guidelines on the Conduct
of Remedial and Advancement Classes During Summer for the K to 12 Basic
Education Program.”
b. DepEd Memorandum No.51 s.2020 or the “Guidelines on the Conduct of
Remedial, Advancement and enrichment Classes During Summer of 2020”
c. DepEd Memorandum No.36 s.2021 or the “Guidelines on the Conduct of
Remedial and Advancement Classes during Summer 2021”
