1. In accordance with Section 43(a) of DO No. 88 s. 2010, this Office hereby provides a copy of the attached Regional Order to disseminate the Process Flow relative to Voluntary Closure of Operation of Private Schools.
2. In view of the foregoing, attention of all concerned is invited to the provisions of paragraph a-d indicated as follows:
a. “The Communication of the private school informing the Department of Education on the voluntary closure of the operation, together with all learners’ records and transfer credentials, shall be submitted to the Division Office prior to the opening of a school year of the effectivity of the said closure.”
b. “The Division Office (Attention: EPS In-charge of Private School) shall ensure the private schools’ compliance with Letter a. The Communication and the Certificate of Compliance (see Enclosure 2: Certificate of Compliance Template) shall then be forwarded to the Regional Office with the 1st Indorsement (see Enclosure 3: 1st Indorsement Template).
c. “The Regional Office through the Quality Assurance Division shall send a Reply (2nd) Indorsement to the Division Office acknowledging the Communication. It shall also update the Regional Database of Private Schools.”
d. “The Division Office shall also update its database and forward the copy of the communications to the private school.”
3. Furthermore, enclosure nos. 1, 2 and 3 to Regional Order No. 9 s. 2019 are hereto attached for proper guidance and information.
4. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Regional Order is directed.
