1. To efficiently implement the Learner Rights and Protection Program, this Division through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), hereby informs the field on the conduct of a virtual meeting on April 15, 2024 (10 AM) via Microsoft Teams.
2. Participants in this meeting are the Division Learner Rights and Protection Focal person, its alternate, and all public and private schools’ Guidance Counselors/ Guidance Teachers. A meeting link will be sent to the official FB group chat.
3. The agenda of this meeting are the following:
- Reproduction and distribution of Social Behavioral Change Materials
- Guidelines on the Protocols on the Handling of Children in Situations of Armed Conflict (CISAC) learners in the Department of Education
- Random Monitoring of Schools on Child Protection Committee Functionality
- Pertinent reports needed by the Central and Regional Office
- Other matters
