1. To strengthen literacy and reading proficiency among learners, DepEd Region IV-A CALABARZON procured remediation reading packages designed to support struggling readers in improving their reading skills. In this regard, there will be orientation on the use of the reading packages on the following schedule:

2. Participation to this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
3. Expenses that may be incurred in participation to this orientation may be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulation.
4. Enclosed to this Memorandum is the list of participants for each reading package.
5. Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is directed.
