1. With reference to DepEd Memorandum No. 035 s. 2023, the Department of Education announced the staging of the Palarong Pambansa this year through DepEd Memorandum No. 005 s. 2023 titled Conduct of the 2023 Palarong Pambansa. The annual scholastic multi-sport competition scheduled from July 28 to August 5, 2023, shall be hosted by LGU of Marikina City together with DepEd- NCR and the Schools Division Office of Marikina City.
2. In this regard, SDO Dasmarinas City is strongly preparing for the prestigious annual sports competition and is continuously conducting intensive training with its talented athletes and committed coaches/trainers. The Dasmarinas TEAM GILAS is proud to compete 86 represent the Region IV-A CALABARZON in the national level competitions in the following sports events: Athletics (Elem &Sec.), Arnis (Sec), Chess (Sec.B/G), Swimming (Elem./Sec), Tennis (Sec.) and SPED-Athletics Para Games for Individual and Team Events. SDO Dasmarinas City is proud to represent Region IV-A CALABARZON in two (2) distinct team sport events in the Palarong Pambansa, namely: Elementary Basketball Boys and Secondary Softball Girls.
