1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 1369 titled An Act Recognizing the Observance of
November 17 of Every Year as the National Students’ Day and DepEd OASYASC-YFD
Memorandum dated September 13, 2022 titled Virtual Celebration of National Students’
Day 2022, this division through the Youth Formation Program-School Governance and
Operations hereby invites al teachers, student leaders, and al learners to participate and attend the virtual celebration of the National Students’ Day 202 on November 17, 2022 and in a series of pre-event activities on November 14-16, 2022 (9 AM- 1 1AM) via DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation official Facebook Page.

2. This year’s celebration with the theme, “Ikaw… Ako… Tayo: Bahagi rig Proseso at Boses ng Pagbabago,” intends to:

a. amplify the valuable contribution and collective manifestation of learners around the country and across all disciplines of education to achieve positive change;

b. provide a learner-centered platform to engage and mobilize learners with various backgrounds in participating in the different carefully designed interactive and participatory activities that promote upskilling, high sense of social responsibility, acceptance, and respect of differences;

c. serve as an opportunity for Filipino learners to connect with others, share their common goals and sentiments, take part in engagements that showcase their causes for volunteerism and capabilities on varied fields of expertise;

d. celebrate the role of young people in the thrust for nation-building; and

e. appreciate young people’s “puso, galing, at talino” in building the gaps and creating opportunities for lifelong and holistic learning and development.
