1. Pursuant to Republic Act No. 11468 titled An Act Designating the Third Sunday
of November Every Year as The National Day of Remembrance of Road Crash Victims,
Survivors and their Families and DepEd OASYASC-YFD Memorandum dated September
13, 2022 titled Virtual Celebration of National Day of Remembrance for Road Crash
Victims, Survivors, and their Families, this division through the Youth Formation Program-School Governance and Operations hereby invites all the Youth Formation
Program counterparts to participate and attend the virtual celebration of the National
Day of Remembrance for Road Crash Victims, Survivors, and their Families on November 20, 2022 (9 AM- 11AM) via DepEd Tayo- Youth Formation official Facebook Page.
2. This activity aims to:
a. remember all people who passes away and seriously injured on the roads;
b. acknowledge the crucial work of the emergency services;
c. draw attention to the generally trivial legal response to culpable road deaths and injuries and advocate for an appropriately serious response;
d. advocate for better support for road traffic victims and victim families; and
e. promote evidence-based actions to prevent and eventually stop further road traffic deaths and injuries.
3. It is requested that all School Information Officers to share the livestream on their
school and youth formation Facebook Pages on the day of event. Also, the dissemination of the information about the live event is also requested to be cascaded by all school heads and teachers concerned to their respective classes and learners. Participants shall use the following hashtags when posting photos in social media:
