1. Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 37 s. 2016, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas enjoins all agencies, departments and bureaus of the government, the City Government of Dasmariñas, and the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in observing the 2016
NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH CELEBRATION (NWMC) with the theme Kapakanan ni Juana, Isama sa Agenda! (Include Women in the Agenda), which calls for gender balance in leadership positions, inclusion of women’s concerns in leadership platforms and the government’s development agenda, and capacitating and preparing women and girls to reach their ambitions.
2. Attached is the DepEd Memorandum No. 37 s.2016 detailing the following information:
a. Aims of the celebration;
b. Suggested activities such as hanging of 2016 NWMC official streamer, uploading of the NWMC official logo or video in office/school website and social media pages, and other activities relative to the NWMC; and
c. Websites and contact persons.
3. All expenses relative to the conduct of 2016 NWMC activities shall be charged to Gender and Development (GAD) Funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
4 Immediate and widest dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
