1. Pursuant to Division Memorandum No. 037, s. 2026 and BSP Dasmarinas City Associate Council Memorandum No. 02, s. 2026, this Office announces the conduct of Back to Makiling: A BSP Dasmarinas City Associate Council’s Community Service and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Engagement on May 23-24, 2026, at Mt. Maklling National Scout Reservation (MNSR).
2. This activity aims to enable Scout leaders, Rover Scouts, and Senior Scouts to promote volunteerism, environmental stewardship, and community resilience. This activity will also further develop their leadership and civic responsibility, which are vital for their holistic development and the betterment of the community.
3. Attached herewith is the Council Memorandum, including the registration fee, registration link, parental consent, and the list of things to bring. Expenses incurred in the conduct and participation in this activity shall be charged against available local funds, subject to the usual government accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
4. The list of participants will be released in a separate memorandum. Participation in scouts’ activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005, Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, as well as strict compliance with other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
