1. Relative to our preparations for the 5th National Storybook Writing Competition, the CID-Learning Resource Management Section is conducting the
Division Competition on Storybook Writing 2023 on July 18-October 06, 2023. This competition is open to all permanent DepEd teaching (Kinder to Grade 12),
teaching-related, and non-teaching personnel. Mechanics for this competition shall follow the guidelines stipulated in DepEd Memorandum No. 78, s. 2022 titled “Conduct of the 4th National Competition on Storybook Writing.”
2. Further, this is to inform the field that registration of aspiring writers and/or
illustrators through https://bit.ly/DSMSWC23 is extended until July 31, 2023,
Monday. Interested participants may start drafting their stories and/or illustrations in advance.
3. The Orientation-Meeting with Participating Storybook Writers and Illustrators
originally scheduled on August 01, 2023 shall be rescheduled to a later date which
will be announced on a separate memorandum.
4. All other provisions of the DM 316, s. 2023 shall remain in effect unless
otherwise stated.
