1. Relative to DepEd Memorandum No. 009, s. 2019, entitled Administration of the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study 2019 Main Survey, the Department of Education (DepEd), through the Bureau of Education Assessment (BEA), will administer the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TLMSS) 2019 Main Survey in March 2019. This is pursuant to DepEd Order No. 29, s. 2017 entitled Policy Guidelines on System Assessment in the K to 12 Basic Education Program.
2. The DepEd Regional office through the Quality Assurance Division (QAD) will monitor the administration of the TIMSS 2019 Main Survey to Grade 4 pupils in selected sampled schools (Bautista ES & San Miguel ES) on March 6 —7, 2019.
3. Enclosed herewith is the DepEd Memorandum No. 009 s. 2019.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Memorandum is directed.
