1. Relevant to the provisions of DepEd Order No. 32, s. 2017 titled “Gender-Responsive Basic Education Policy” and the Philippine Commission on Women’s mantra on gender equality, Pride Month is being celebrated every June to highlight the strength, courage, and authenticity that define the journey of discovering and embracing diversity. This Office through the GAD Focal Point System Committee Members will have our official kick-off during the flag raising ceremony on June 1, 2026.
2. Expected participants to this engagement are all Division and selected school personnel. Enclosed also are the indicated guidelines for those interested to participate in the set activities. Schools are also encouraged to have their own kick-off ceremonies/celebrations with documentations.
