1. DepEd Order No. 008, s. 2015 or Policy Guidelines on Classroom Assessment for the K to 12 Basic Education Program states that assessment is a crucial component of the curriculum that enables teachers to monitor students’ progress and adjust their instruction accordingly to ensure learners’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development and achieve desired learning competencies articulated in the national curriculum.
2. All schools are directed to administer the Diagnostic Tests for SY 2025-2026 on any date/s within June 30-July 3, 2025.
3. The administration of the said test aims to:
a. gather baseline data of learners’ knowledge based on the standard competencies;
b. develop appropriate instructional intervention and customized technical assistance/support to schools;
c. design an appropriate LAC Plan and Technical Assistance Plan (SHs, MTs, and HTs); and
d. develop and design instructional interventions and customized technical assistance to support the schools (EPSs and PSDSs).
4. Copies of the existing Diagnostic Tests may be accessed through the CID Microsite using the school’s and/or the school head’s official DepEd email address. If there are no available test materials in the CID Microsite, teachers and schools may develop their own diagnostic tests.
