1. The City Schools Division of Dasmarinas announces the filling-up of Newly Created and Existing Vacant Teaching positions in Elementary Schools (Kindergarten to Grade 6 and Special Education), Alternative Learning System and Junior High School, to wit:

Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 7 s, 2023 titled ” Guidelines on Recruitment, Selection, and Appointment in the Department of Education”, the appointing officer/authority shall be guided by the CAR-RQA, and in the exercise of sound discretion, select, insofar as practicable, the candidate deemed most qualified for appointment from among the top five (5) or less, depending on the number or candidates, unless otherwise provided by law.
For multiple vacancies, the appointing officer/authority shall select from top-ranking candidates in the CAR-RQA, computed by multiplying the number of vacant plantilla items by a factor of five (5) as follows:
Total number of top-ranking candidates = number of vacant items x 5
60 = 12 x 5

3. For teacher positions, the appointing officer/authority may select from the candidates in the CAR-RQA who are ranked below the top 5 or top-ranking candidates, when the appointment falls within the purview of the exemptions enumerated below:
a. Top-ranking candidates who do not possess the necessary learning area specialization (e.g. Kindergarten; Math, Science, and other subject areas for Secondary level) required by the position to be filled, or all the top-ranking candidates who possess the necessary learning specialization by the position to be filled have already been appointed and there are still vacant positions to be filled.
b. RA 8190 “Localization Law”, including an applicant who taught as Local School Board (LSB) – hired teacher, KVT, or substitute teacher for at least one year.
c. Other pertinent laws, national policies, and agreements entered into by DepED (e.g. DSWD-4Ps Beneficiaries, DOLE-SPIMS, DOST-SEI Scholars)
4. The CAR-RQA for School Year 2023-2024 is valid for the entire school year. It shall be utilized to fill positions created or vacated within the school year.
5. A Notice of Document Submission with a Checklist of Requirements will be sent to all successful applicants.
