1. In line with Division Advisory No. 49, s. 2024 titled Participation to the National Search of Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Schools of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) dated April 19, 2024, this Office through the School Governance and Operations Division – Learner Formation Program would like to inform the field on the face-to-face learning session with DENR-EMB on May 15, 2024 from 08:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. at The Bayleaf Hotel, General Trias City, Cavite.
2. This activity endeavors to foster a framework for school’s adherence to statutory requirements, i.e., Division Order No. 1, s. 2019 titled Regulating the Use of Plastic Products in Schools and Offices in the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas as to the promotion of the ideals of a sustainable, eco-friendly and green school.
3. The participants to this activity are select division office personnel, YES-O and Learner Government teacher-advisers as enumerated in Enclosure No. 1.
4. Meals of the participants will be covered by DENR-EMB; however, transportation expenses shall be charged to local funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
5. Participation to this activity shall adhere to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 on Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith, and strict compliance to other existing DepEd rules and guidelines.
