1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 72, s. 2003 titled Establishment of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), this Office hereby reiterates the Guidelines on Composition, Election and Term of Office of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O).
2. YES-O is a school-based co-curricular organization which serves as a significant venue for students’ actions and movements toward safeguarding, protecting and conserving the environment for future generations. It is the only recognized co-curricular environmental organization which consolidates all other school environmental and/or ecology clubs or organizations.
3. It shall be composed of the duly elected President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, Public Information Officer and Peace Officer. Elections shall be conducted schoolwide, annually every first week of March in a classroom designated for the purpose.
4. Relative hereto, all public elementary and secondary schools in Dasmarinas City are reminded to ensure the conduct of school-wide YES-0 election any day between March 2-6, 2020. School Heads are advised to make necessary arrangement to ensure that there will be no disruption of classes as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measure to Increase Engaged Time-On-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith during the conduct of
this activity.
5. Attached herewith are (a) Constitution and By-Laws of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) and (b) Annual Accomplishment Report (AAR).
6. Schools YES-O COMELEC shall submit the names of the newly elected officers via email at yfp@depeddasma.edu.ph on or before March 9, 2020. The YES-O Annual Accomplishment ….
