1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 50, s. 2011 titled Creation of the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office and in line with Republic Act 10121 or the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction Management Act of 2010, this Office contextualized disaster risk reduction and management plans to fit its operations in relation to quality basic education. In addition, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council through the Office of Civil Defense, together with the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation, Inc. (PDRF) formulated the Public Service Continuity Plan (PSCP) Guidebook in which the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas aims to localize for purposes of learning continuity amidst disruptions of classes brought about by disaster or emergencies.
2. In this light, the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas will revisit the existing multi-hazard contingency plans of the Division, as well as formulate the Public Service Continuity Plan of the Division on June 25-26, 2024 at BP Makiling Hotel, Los Baños, Laguna.
3. Participants to this writeshop are the Top Management, selected Public Schools District Supervisors, Education Program Supervisors and Division Unit Heads and Personnel as enumerated in Enclosure No. 1.
4. First meal to be served is AM snack while the last meal to be served is PM snack. Travel costs that shall be incurred in participation to face-to-face activities shall be charged against available local funds subject to usual accounting and auditing guidelines.
